Prosecco Bottle Light

Description

Prosecco bottle lamp with fibre optics bursting out of the cork like a fizz.

This is a hand made bottle lamp from an upcycled prosecco bottle in a unique style that is not easily copied and quite rare. None of your friends will have one so it may well be a conversation piece. I make them to order and they are subject to me getting hold of nice bottles for upcycling.

The base is reclaimed timber which is sanded, stained and varnished. The underside of the base has a bonded rubber mat so it won’t slip or scratch your surface.

The bulb rises up into the neck of the bottle and illuminates approximately 50 “end-glow” fibre optic cables. The result being that the bottle is illuminated without seeing the bulb and the fibre optic cables are illuminated like the fizz of a popped cork.

The lamp is wired to UK specification 240v, with double insulated black flex which also runs through a further protective sleeve. Each lamp is electrically PAT tested on completion.

The lamp is fitted with a black UK three pin plug and black in-line on/off switch.

Total height to the crown of the fibre optics is approximately 47cm (to top of bottle 36cm), base width 30cm, base depth (front to back) 14cm.

Bulb style is a G9 low energy which is easily available from most supermarkets, ebay, amazon etc
